Neymar

While Brazil overcame Switzerland 1-0 to go to the round of 16 at the World Cup, Neymar stayed at the team hotel for rehabilitation on his right ankle.

The only player that skipped the team’s second game in Qatar at Stadium 974 was the forward from Brazil. Danilo went to the stadium with the rest of the team despite missing the game as well due to an ankle ailment.

Vincius Jnior, a forward, claimed Neymar also suffered a fever on Monday. Despite the fact that the team had not made an official statement.

Vincius Junior remarked, “He was disappointed he couldn’t make it to the game.” He was in poor health. Not just due to the foot, but also due to a mild temperature he was experiencing. He has to get better as quickly as feasible, we hope.

While receiving care for his foot, Neymar posted an Instagram story that showed him watching the game on television.

Neymar referred to the defensive midfielder who scored the game-winning goal for Brazil as “Casemiro has been the best defensive midfielder in the world for a long time” on Twitter.

Neymar’s substitute for Brazil’s match against Switzerland was midfielder Fred, and Danilo was replaced at right back by Éder Milito.

On Thursday, Neymar suffered ankle ligament damage in Brazil’s opening 2-0 victory over Serbia. Although team physicians have not yet provided a timeline for his rehabilitation, he stated that he will play again in the World Cup.

Neymar is competing in his third World Cup while attempting to bring Brazil its first major championship. He is two goals short of Pelé’s all-time national team goal total of 77.

The last group game for Brazil is on Friday against Cameroon.
